Custom bed that wasn’t made correctly to start. Might be better if you call me for feedback as there is a long list that I don’t have time to write here.

We contacted Get Laid Beds to confirm explicitly that it would be possible for them to build our bed on the delivery date, and they confirmed that this would be possible. On delivery, we were then told that this wouldn’t be possible due to covid restrictions. No apology made - simply told by the delivery men to “contact Get Laid Beds for a refund”.Their policy is obviously entirely understandable, but this should have been made explicitly clear when purchasing, and we should not have been told that the opposite was the case. We also paid for the building service, which surely should not have been possible in view of their current policy. Now awaiting a refund which may take 14 days. Poor customer service and no attempt made to remedy the situation. As a result of all this, we built the bed ourselves. Around 50% of the pre-drilled holes were not deep enough and required further drilling. Despite this, it was not possible to get all of the screws to seat properly and despite many hours’ work trying to remedy this, we weren’t able to build the bed to a standard that we’re happy with, as several of the screws are left sticking out by up to a centimetre. Overall highly unsatisfactory. Won’t be using again.UPDATE - one of the under-bed storage boxes also came without the necessary screws, biscuit joints and wheels required for assembly

Absolutely first class in every respect. A great website with its 3D interactive view of the bed and what it looked like in different options and angles and measurements of all the elements is really helpful. The bed arrived in environmentally friendly packaging (i.e. minimum necessary cardboard which was easy to get into without needless polystyrene and almost no plastic (just little sealed packets for screws). White Glove delivery straight up to the door - on time, and with advance warning of precisely the time it would arrive. The craftsmanship of the wood (and the joints in particular) is top notch - simple and dependable and a doddle to follow so assembly was a breeze. It is very sturdy - those wide and thick slats (with pilot holes) are a world apart from the usual fare - but at the same time a beautiful bed. The mattress (2000 spring) is heavenly. The whole lot has been rated a perfect 11/10 from our 6ft teenage son who is delighted with it. It's heartening to see a company engaged in traditional proper craftsmanship, which is well worth paying for but still good value for money. Many thank!

Honestly love this bed. It’s sturdy and well built. Love the colour and style. The headboard really compliments our newly painted room. Also extremely pleased with the updates about the making of the bed and the delivery. Very informative and helpful.

This was our second bed from Get Laid Beds - both superb experiences in terms of service, quality and style. We recommend them to everyone!

I received the bed in the exact time frames promised. For the price paid, I am extremely disappointed with the quaity of the fininsh and the materials used. I expected a lot more

Excellent bed, simple design, sustainable company and products and GREAT quality ! Very easy to assemble ! I love it!

Great customer service. Needed some assistance prior to ordering, and the live chat function was very helpful in answering my questions. Website is easy to navigate. Ordered an ottoman kingsize bedframe. Would highly recommend!

A very nice bed. I recommend to anyone but two things I would like to say. Firstly the joints of head piece and foot piece to the side rails require screws to secure (provided), but wouldn’t it be better if the pilot holes through the screw-head portion were slightly larger than the screw thread? The way they are it is impossible to get the screws to clamp the parts together. Secondly the joints creak. This could be because of the above..

Delivery good disappointed with under bed unit expected it to be sold wood not wood and metal sides and already assembled.

My first bed was so squeaky that I had to return it. When my second bed arrived, I also paid for the felt anti slip pads, but they didnt arrive. The new bed is also squeaky but maybe that will change when the pads arrive...Also it doesnt really bother me from an aesthetics perspective because you cant see it, but there were scuffs and unnecessary holes drilled into the frame and slats. Im told the frame is made on order so everything is new, but definitely the wood seemed used or perhaps just damaged. If this is the case, I don't even have a problem with it because its recycled, but should be made aware of this when buying.Overall I havent been impressed with the beds.

The bed looks nice and strong and sturdy , however there were two small issues while assembling, One: it was an ottoman bed with piston hinges the assembly instructions were not very clear particularly around installing the hinges which is not something that is done in normal beds so was expecting a little more elaboration. Two: the screws provided were not enough, i had to leave in the middle of the assembly to go get some 35mm screws to complete the final parts which was a bit annoying.we have just started using the bed and looking forward to a nice experience going forward.
